IA and OmniGraffle

I downloaded the trial version of OmniGraffle to try it out, and so far I’ve liked using it. It’s work very well for what I have been doing, which is this:

I’ve been doing some Information Architecture lately, both for my classes at UW, and for my ECHO Updater project. I’ve been working off and on when I have the time to create a new version of the Updater App. Right now I am planning everything out and creating my specs.

Information Visualization Final Project

In my info vis class we are now working on our final projects. My team is building a visualization of Seattle skyscrapers. Planning out how and when we are going to get everything done has been a pretty big task in itself… I started to put together a paper prototype for doing user testing.

I wish I had more time to work on my 3D printer. Everything is going fine with that, except that one of the potentiometers on my Brainwave board keeps getting super hot, no matter how much I adjust it. Arg.

HCDE 303 – Project Management and CSCW: My Class Project.

Back in spring quarter I took a Project Management class. In that class my team and I developed a project plan and proposal for improving Amazon’s book discoverable experience. Although this plan was never actually implemented, it shows a lot of quality work that I did.
This work is posted online by my team member, Matt MacAdam. Mr. MacAdam and I were the most active members of our team.
